It may be that a civilization can rise no higher than the spiritual and moral level of its music.

They Know..

I pray that this page can bring a deeper understanding on the power of music. Music plays a significant part of society and has since the beginning of time. Below you will find links to great discoveries found in medicine / science using the power of frequencies and how they effect us. For many years I've heard the saying "music calms the beast" and it's true! This truth has been discovered and is being practiced by Doctors of many fields. As a bible believing Christian these findings are not surprising due scripture, which reveals and confirms the power of music. Remember the story of David and how was able to cast a demon out of King Saul by just playing music. What is music and what's it's purpose? I pray that as you read and watch the many videos on this blog that you begin to better understand the power of music and what makes it so effective. If medical science can perform such miraculous results with good music, and if good music has been found to bring peace, healing, knowledge, and supernatural experiences with God. Then my question is what does bad music do and how does bad music effect us? We can no longer neglect the negative trying to be positive because not making a decision is making decision. The truth is liberating and needs to be shared especially in this day and age. With the level of influence social media has and the lack of light in todays world, there's a desperate need for a voice crying out in the wilderness declaring prepare ye the way of the Lord. Music is part of the Light Spectrum Frequency and we are receptors of those frequencies. To get a better understanding watch this brief  video on the side entitled "How Frequencies Work And Effect Us." it's the 1st one on the right. Below are some real articles proving that music is more than just entertainment.

As you go through this page you will begin to see how impactful music / frequencies are and how they are being used. I provide plenty of references, literature and videos clearly proving what I'm openly sharing. Enjoy the ride! I will end this post with a Question: Who led worship in heaven? This will be key in opening a world of light in this time of darkness.  Remember that the powers that be are using music for gain and control, and want you to believe that it's ONLY MUSIC.

ROOT OF MORAL DECAY TRACED TO HIDDEN EFFECTS OF MUSIC

Please take the time and read through is article and hear what professionals had to say of music and it's affects on living and non-living things. You will be shocked on the evidence discovered through the study of music. Dark underpinning began with blues music in the South and progressed through the explosion of new sounds in the Sixties and Seventies -- eventually reaching the extremes of rap and heavy metal.

Behind the scenes, it was shown, most major musicians in those "movements" were involved with occult-like past-times or strange beliefs like UFOs, Vodoo, and satanism just to name a few of which we believe are a spiritual deceptions.

The connections between rock and the dark side -- and later offshoot music, such as "gothic," "industrial," and "grunge" -- are legion. No doubt, musicians fall into traps as we all fall into traps, thinking the dark side to be "cool" and even dabbling with black magic along with drugs, which allow demonic infiltration.

See the Rolling Stones. See Ozzie Osborne. See Led Zeppelin.

In some cases, rock musicians have even used the pentagram or pronounced the name of the devil.

"He was really into that stuff," one groupie testified about a major rock guitarist. "I believe he was very into black magic and probably did a lot of rituals, candles, bat’s blood, the whole thing."

The point is that there is a spirit -- a deceptive spirit -- behind much of today's music, and that spirit has had vast repercussions.

To varying degrees -- in ways we often don't recognize -- rock and other hard music has affected us all, says an activist named Andrew Pudewa of California, leading in large part to the "dumbing-down" of the West and by implication causing violence and other aberrant behavior through effects that are subliminal as well as spiritual.

"In the 1970s there was a researcher in Colorado named Dorothy Retallac who published a booklet about the sound of music and plants and showed how plants respond positively to classics and baroque music -- faring well and actually leaning toward the speakers, growing toward the speakers when the music is classical, but react very badly -- don't root as deeply, don't produce the fruit, and lean away from the speakers -- when exposed to the rock music of the 1970s," says Pudewa, a home-schooling father of seven who currently serves as director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing and has produced an enthralling audio presentation called The Profound Effects of Music on Living Things.

In the 1980s, notes Pudewa, another researcher named Harvey Bird studied the brain cells of mice that were exposed to certain kinds of music and found that classical sounds such as a waltz caused rodent brain cells to be more "organized" and "connected" while a voodoo drumbeat caused "a pathological growth pattern." The voodoo beat is at the origin of early blues music -- which inspired much of rock and roll.

Played such music all day long, the mice, says Pudewa, would "start to attack and cannibalize each other."

In 1997, a high school student who later won the state fair for his research exposed one group of mice to Mozart, another to a heavy-metal group called Anthrax, notes Pudewa -- and found that mice listening to Mozart were able to greatly improve how quickly they found their way through a maze -- lowering their time from ten minutes to under two -- while those played heavy-metal music from an especially harsh group aptly named "Anthrax" went from taking ten minutes to get through a maze to thirty -- in addition to killing each other, when the music was played all day long.

They were confused. They were dumbed down. Their mental abilities decreased dramatically.

Art is supposed to imitate nature, says Pudewa -- it is supposed to have a good spiritual underpinning -- and when it does not, there is chaos. It was Thomas Aquinas who said that the Bible was the second Gospel -- that nature is the first.

A while back, an article about a researcher in Japan who has photographs showing that various moods and spiritual settings apparently affect the formation of ice crystals. The researcher, Dr. Masaru Emoto, claims to have seen astounding results -- crystals that are beautifully formed when they have been in the presence of classical music or the sounds of praying and ugly, malformed, and unformed structures when tension was expressed in the room during crystal formation or there was heavy-metal music.

Emoto claims that Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony resulted in "beautiful and well-formed crystals" and that the same was true of Mozart -- while rock jangled water as much as it jangles our ears.

All matter, argues Emoto, is energy vibrating at the atomic level. It is at that threshold that there is the spiritual dimension, he asserts. Does our environment affect us far beyond the physical?

"All the classical music that we exposed the water to resulted in well-formed crystals with distinct characteristics," the Japanese researcher said. "In contrast, the water exposed to violent heavy-metal music resulted in fragmented and malformed crystals at best."

The same happens, it appears, to functions in the brain.

Is this at least partly responsible for the dramatic lessening of school test scores, the deterioration of attention spans, and the epidemic need for new psychological medication?

Has it affected our health? (why now more than ever are our children are be diagnosed with so many disorders, and yet there answer to this problem is DRUG THEM)

And spiritually, what has come off such music that so often evokes demonology? What now hovers around our youth? Was it a coincidence that heavy-metal music was prominent in the lives of those kids who killed at Columbine?

"Rhythmic dominant music stimulates the physical body, whereas melodic dominant music connects to the mind and harmonic dominant music opens up the emotions," writes Pudewa. "Most popular, classic rock, alternative, and even a lot of contemporary Christian music is rhythmic dominant, with repetitive patterns and narrow melodic variation. Popular music, even folk music, tends to be repetitive and narrow so that it is easy to sing with or dance to.

"Unfortunately, persistent syncopated music (with the accent on the off-beat) is not natural, and the mammalian body -- which has a rhythmic heartbeat and pulse -- perceives this persistent syncopation as an attack, and responds with a release of adrenaline and endorphins.

"Our hearts are beating ONE-two-three, ONE-two-three -- but when we listen to music with a stopped anapestic beat, one-two-THREE, one-two-THREE, it creates tension.

"When used occasionally for a short time as was done during the classical and romantic periods, this creates excitement and tension in music, but when used continually, as is the case with most all popular music, it creates a persistent stress, and the body reacts accordingly. Most definitely it is an unnatural condition, clearly exemplified by the neurological damage suffered by the rodents in the maze experiments."

Why do kids listen to such harsh sounds?

The endorphins and adrenalin are like drugs, says Pudewa; they are physically addictive.

The devil has hooked us many ways.

He opens us up spiritually with the early melodic sounds of rock music (see The Beatles), but then slams with the harsh beat and jangled music and seductive lyrics once the soul is open, he says.

Melodies morph into disturbing, louder, rhythmic, and disordered music.

The result is all around us.

In 1925 -- during the "Roaring Twenties" (which also produced cinema) -- mass- produced electronic recording changed our entire relationship with music, as people went from being music producers -- singing for themselves -- to a society of music consumers -- soon to find little control over the music they heard, and more so today than ever, whether it is music we encounter while waiting on a phone, eating out, shopping, watching the news, or riding up an elevator.

The rhythm and syncopation have led, says the researcher, to seduction, sensual emotions, and sexual energy. Today, says Pudewa, there are Catholic singers who sound like they are singing to a girlfriend or boyfriend instead of God.

"The disordered form violates natural law and therefore spiritual law," says Pudewa. "And this is disturbing -- especially a drumbeat -- during the liturgy."

"I believe the decline of spiritual sensitivity that allows perversion and abortion to continue is a result of the spiritual widening of souls by our media, and the number one change in the media is music," he theorizes. "The sounds we hear are objectively ugly. They are unpredictable and chaotic. This even goes for jazz. Nature has a perfect balance between infinite complexity and variety and structure.

"I propose that the purpose of art is to bring the mind of man closer to the Mind of God, which, when seen in nature, is the perfect blending of infinite variety within perfect structure," he adds. "Every oak leaf, rose petal, snowflake, or human face is perfect in structure, but differs in some way.

"From the smallest cell to vast galaxies, natural creation demonstrates unlimited complexity within consistent structure.

"When art seeks to imitate this balance of structure and complexity, it brings us closer to the Mind of God; when art intentionally diverges from this balance -- either towards chaos or monotony -- it has the potential to draw us away from God's nature.

"Surely, the spiritual sensitivity of the people of this nation has been profoundly undermined, and we cannot discount the very real likelihood that the music of the day has had a significant, even dominant, impact on this decline.

"If our children are to reclaim this country for Christ, they must reclaim the culture -- of which music is an essential part.

"We must pray and consider the role of music in worship. Is it right to use intrinsically disordered (persistent syncopated rhythmic dominant) music in a place where our goal is to become more in tune with spiritual truth?"

God Bless you all,

The Power Of influence

What and Who you surround yourself with affects you
hope it is safe to say that most people would agree that what we listen to affects us emotionally. For example, this study shows that music affects our mood http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=400748.
In a similar way, what we surround ourselves with affects us intellectually. This study shows that playing violent games causes people to be more violent http://www.christianpost.com/article/20081104/landmark-study-on-violent-games-strongly-suggests-reducing-exposure.htm
This study shows that  teens who watch TV shows that have sexual content are twice as likely to get pregnant or impregnate someone than those who do not http://us.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/11/03/teen.pregnancy/
This study shows that kids “learn by observing, imitating, and making behaviors their own” and so media influences children http://education.stateuniversity.com/pages/2212/Media-Influence-on-Children.html Indeed, the media can affect how the public perceives an infectious disease http://www.app.com/article/20081104/LIFE11/811040309/0/LIFE This study shows that models, magazines and TV shows influence eating patterns, including eating disorders http://www.ur.umich.edu/9798/Oct22_97/media.htm
In a similar way, the friends we surround ourselves with affect us. This study shows that if we have friends who are obese, we are almost 60% more likely to become overweight http://content.nejm.org/cgi/content/full/357/4/370.
This study suggested that kids who hang out with aggressive friends become aggressive themselves http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2008/02/25/bullying-psychology.html
This study shows that teens who have friends who have had sex are more likely to have sex than those who have fewer such friends http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/118556801/abstract
Each person is responsible for his own choices. But who and what we surround ourselves with affects us, good or bad. Plenty of studies have shown this.
Businesses know that advertisements work, otherwise they would not spend billions trying to convince people they need what the companies are selling. Of COURSE what people read, and watch, and listen to, affects them. If they are exposed to what God calls good, they are more likely to be affected for the good. If they are exposed to what God calls evil, they are more likely to be affected for the bad.

Here are some Scripture that teach  us the same principle.  Feel free to look them over.

Proverbs 13:20
He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
Proverbs 22:24-25
24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, 25 or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.
Proverbs 24:21-22
21 Fear the LORD and the king, my son, and do not join with the rebellious, 22 for those two will send sudden destruction upon them, and who knows what calamities they can bring?…
1 Corinthians 15:33
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Although people who love and trust God, through faith in Christ, are not under supervision of the Law, it still tells us what sin is.
Romans 3:20
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
Our music, TV shows, movies, magazines, and even friends can lead us towards sin. They can influence our thinking to believe what God calls sin is good, and vice versa.
But we are to be aware of what the world teaches and reject it.
Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
As Christians we have to resist people who are wicked.
Proverbs 28:4
Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them.
Romans 14:16
Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil.
James 4:4
You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
We are to rid ourselves of all moral filth and evil.
James 1:21
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
Even if our friends do not make us think that what God called good is evil and vice versa, the things and people we surround ourselves with can be used to tempt us to sin. Even Christ said,
Matthew 18:6-7
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!
1 Peter 1:15-16
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
So we have to be careful with what we listen to, what we watch, what we read, and even with whom we surround ourselves. But even more importantly, we need to love God, trust God, resist evil, choose to not sin – and pray, for ourselves, our family, our friends, our society.

10 Signs of a Carnal Church

Finding a worldliness free church these days can be disheartening. There are so many crooks and devils pastoring churches these days, it can be a chore finding a service that will meet your needs rather than tickle your fancy. The bible tells us that the Devil can transform himself into an angel of light and his ministers into ministers of unrighteousness. Why in the world would a person desire to be in a church that is full of unrighteousness and carnality? Why not just club, party, and hang out in the world where that stuff belongs? I don't understand why people even involve the church of God in their wickedness. What is the point? If you are in sin, then why practice sin and claim him?

But we see the church morally declining because of the leaders that are put up by carnal people. It's not just the Pastors fault, but it's the people that heap upon themselves these teachers, desiring to live worldly and carnal while claiming the God of our salvation. Let's explore the 10 signs of a carnal church so that those of you that are really searching for a worship house will not have to sit through multiple takes of foolishness to make a decision. You do not want to expose your family to the umbrella of foolishness that many of these churches are operating under. So, here are the 10 signs of a carnal church:

10. Cash Money Evangelists- When you find out that preachers like the "money cometh man" has visited this church or they are under them in any way, make that your first and last visit! Pastors that want money will bring these thieves in or set themselves under them to be in position to get rich. They will use the pulpit like an Amway presentation and bring in these money stealing evangelist to generate income. This is a trick because while the Pastor gets richer, the people in the church get dumb and poor. Some will prosper because they were already prosperous, but the average person will never get any more than they would have already gotten had they not financed foolishness. Beware, it's a spiritual pyramid scheme!

9. Financial focus - When you hear about offering and tithes before the offering period, beware. When you keep hearing about blessings, season, harvest, destiny, purpose, breakthrough, and especially FAVOR, then know you are being set up. All these things should pertain to soul winning, but when they are used as financial buzz words, then you know the pastor needs cash. The bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil and anytime money is overly emphasized in a ministry, there is evil following it. So, if they have a space on the visitors card to state your income bracket, proceed to the nearest exit!

8. Bad language -Any pastor that will use profanity in his pulpit is childish! That is one of the most carnal things you will ever see and it speaks volumes of the pastors lifestyle outside of the church. The bible says that if the tongue is out of order, the rest of the body is as well, so, you just got your sign on whether or not this is the person to bring your family under. And if the word for every Sunday is "SEX" then you know something is going on. PG-13 is too high a rating for Sunday morning worship. Why in the world would anyone tolerate a cussing pastor? Are we that desperate for a man to be over us that we would allow him to do what many of us don't do in front of our own families? What a shame and yet it is happening at an alarming rate.

7. Divorce rate - You can learn a lot about a ministry and what kind of attacks it is experiencing by the number of divorces that are occurring. When people in leadership of a ministry divorce, it's not the same as lay members divorcing. God hates divorce because it essentially says that people are giving up and not giving him a chance to reconcile them. Don't get me wrong, sometimes, the circumstances may call for divorce based on abuse, or one party not being willing to work it out, but when people just mutually agree that they don't want each other anymore, then that is what displeases God. And a church that is full of divorced couples is dangerous. Especially when it's in the leadership and they can't seem to work out their differences. And you never want to put yourself under a pastor that struggles with marital issues. When a man's focus is his church rather than his family, beware. He is a hound dog on the prowl, seeking gratification outside his own home! Believe That!!!

6. Sinful Alliances - When the Bishop or Leader of the parent organization of your church is brought in by the pastor, check him out. If he has a bunch of homosexuals flying around with him or he is carnal and devilish, then expect the same from your pastor. A man cannot sit under wickedness long, without being affected by it. Psalms tells us that the wicked walk around freely when the vilest of men are exalted. When men come under foul leaders, they are essentially saying that they would rather position themselves for a position in the organization than protect their church from sinfulness. After all, isn't being apart of a wicked organization saying that you are in essence in favor of wickedness? Be careful of this double standard. It's not about the organization in God's eyes, but it's about the people that the Pastor is suppose to be caring for.

5. Homosexuals and Lesbians - If you walk into the building and they are everywhere, leave! Any man that attracts homosexuals is a homosexual. Any pastor that allows homosexuals to roam freely in his ministry is probably a homosexual. Any man that defends the gay lifestyle is most likely gay. Any man that has a tolerance for the lifestyle is probably gay. Any man that doesn't get squeamish when they are surrounded by homosexuals likes the attention. People, why are we playing around with this? Why are we making this a non issue? It's an obvious problem. Homosexuals will not thrive in a ministry that does not condone them. They will repent and be delivered if the power of God is truly in a ministry. If the leader tolerates their lifestyles and uses their talents without delivering their souls, then he is a pimp and should be avoided. This one should be a no brainer.

4. Club Attire - If the Pastor wears an earring, don't get out the car! How can you ever have standards in your home and amongst your sons when the very pastor of the church is modeling vanity and showing he is a playa? Also, if people are walking around sexy in church and no one cares, then you know that church is not practicing holiness. I'm not saying that folks have to have crusty lips and nappy hair, but what I'm saying is that, butt cracks, cleavage, and belly buttons should not be outfit accessories! And please, let's not get on the women and not touch on the men. We see that too often where the women have to look like national geographic natives, but the men can prance around dressed like Superfly! Let's balance this out and just say, the church is not the club. We must not be intentionally sexy in the house of God. Tight fitting clothes and such just don't belong in God's house. God is the focus, so hide your meat!

3. Secular Remakes - If you visit a ministry and they welcome all the single people with Beyonce's song "single ladies" or they sing "reasons" to the married couples, then you know you are in a den of debauchery. If they had a memerial service for MJ, then you are in punkdom and need to leave! Any church that has to resort to old and new school secular jams to keep people interested is nothing but a bootleg club and they need to start stamping hands. What happened to the "NEW SONG" that David spoke of? Why are people singing the worlds songs in church? The secular artists that wrote them are complaining and they want their songs back on the radio and in the world where they can get paid for them, not in the church. What a shame.

2. Obamania - If you hear about the president every week and your pastor has gone off the deep end trying to weave him into every sermon on a weekly basis, then you know it's time to go! Our president stands for everything that Christ is against. How in the world do we make him a favorable topic for the church? Shouldn't we as a church stand against his policy if it conflicts with the Word of God? But we have pastors that have jumped on his band wagon and are using his fame and popularity to generate income and membership. They feel if they keep him the focus, people that support him will support them! And they will always say "now, i don't agree with all of his policies, but……..praise the Lord for blessing us with a black president!" That's like saying "I know he is a satanist, but praise God I finally got a date!" I'm telling you, this is a true sign of the times when the president gets more time than Jesus in our pulpits.

1. God said stay! - This is not for the visitors, but this is for those that have seen a moral decline in the church you have been attending. You have seen the pastor embrace the world, carnality, television and movie stars. You have begun to hear more about money than about Jesus. You hear more about the pastors wants and desires than the desires of Jesus! You see the youth partying and hip hopping during the service and it just does not agree with your spirit. Homosexuals are everywhere and no one cares anymore. You are being abused spiritually because you are not giving as much as you are told by the pastor or you are not with the new stuff that's going on. So, what do you do? You attempt to exercise your GOD GIVEN DOMINION AND RIGHT TO LEAVE. But when you meet with the pastor, he tells you that God said you can't???? He says that God has told him something that he won't tell you? In other words, you can't leave because something bad is going to happen.

Well, this is witchcraft manipulation in the highest degree. When you are afraid to leave, then you know it's not God. He has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and………..a sound mind. If the place you are worshiping is not spiritually sound, then that's the part that is not God and the fear to leave must be rebuked.

Listen people of God. We are in a bad state of the church right now. It's like the dark ages all over again. People think church is for the sinner and it's not. Church is the collective body of believers assembling together in a unified manner. Those that practice and condone sinfulness are excluded! Sure many are weak and need strength, but you can't draw strength from weak leaders! And for this cause many are not going to church anymore and would rather stay home. But God is faithful and I pray that you will make 2010 the year that you step away from that carnal headship and make a move of faith! Step out and seek the face of God for clarity. He will lead you to a wonderful place where the Spirit of God resides and the carnality of men is not. But you must take the step of faith first. Once you move, God will move on your behalf.

2Cor. 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Jer. 12:10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

2Tim. 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Matt. 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Jer. 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

In His Name,

G. Craige Lewis

The People's Preachers

From booty shaking youth groups, to secular love song singing shepherds. From old school concerts to homosexual Gospel performers, where has our church gone?

What happened to church being a house of prayer? What happened to church being a place where people came to change? Our churches are going south and it's the fault of secularized, insecure, affirmation seeking pastors.

Remember when divorce took off in the 1960's and the American family was challenged by the hippie movement, baby boomers, and feminist agenda? Homosexuality, infidelity, promiscuity, and drug use swept across America and began to undo the moral fabric that held our marriages together. The divorce and wedlock child bearing rates soared and an insecure nation of young people began to emerge. What began to happen was that the children of the broken home began to grow up with deficits.

The lack of strong fathers in the home birthed children that needed constant affirmation from their peers and social groups to replace the validation they lacked in their homes. They needed constant approval and validation because they felt that at least 1 of their parents didn't want them. Drugs, porn, gay lifestyles, etc. began to plague that generation of youth that sought to plug the missing parent hole in their hearts with the approval of their peers. And if their peers were gang members, then so be it. If their peers where alcoholics, drug users, promiscuous, you name it, they had to do it to fit in and get the approval that was missing in their homes.

Whether we want to face the fact or not, children deal with the death of a parent better than the divorce of a parent. You see, divorce usually leads the child to believe that they are not wanted by the parent that doesn't get full custody of them. No matter how you slice it, it gets sliced, and that has a negative affect on the child either way. This is a proven fact and yet homes are breaking up like never before. Ok, back to my original point. What happens when these young people, the children in need of validation at any cost, grow up? Well, they became our pastors and leaders, and, unless God fixes them, that hole that they have always sought to plug will continue to get bigger because the older they get, the more they will need attention and approval.

What happens when an insecure man is put in position to lead? He uses that position to get security and validation. He uses that platform to be a "star" in the eyes of the people so they can feed his need for validation. What happens when a homosexual man, which is the highest form of insecurity, is put before people? He will use the people's applause and accolades to validate his lifestyle and existence since God and nature will not. This is where we are people of God. We have full grown insecure men leading our churches and they are using their platforms to promote themselves so they can overcome their insecurities and lack of validation. They surround themselves with armor bearers and male cheerleaders. They fill their pews with people that deem them human gods and follow their every word. They lift themselves up and lord over their audiences. They do what they feel and want, not regarding the spiritual ramifications of it.

They do not lead, but instead, they appease and give the people what their flesh is desiring in order to be loved and adored by their congregations. These pastors are full of it and they make a mockery of God and his standard of holiness that he is calling for. They mix secular music into their gospel music. They mix secular themes and worldly fun into their preaching and teaching. They basically put the stamp of Jesus on the ghetto club mentality and promote the very lifestyles that are destroying God's people. Yet, for the sake of fame, notoriety, accolades, and validation by applause, they sell God out and do whatever the people desire. All of this has happened before, and Christ dealt with it all in his messages to the 7 churches of Asia. We have been covering these churches on our radio program and you can download these sermons for free here.

These same, insecure pastors build large buildings and live lavish lifestyles that require them to keep the people coming so they can pay the bills. They live like this to overcome the opinions of those that said they would fail or they wouldn't amount to anything. So, instead of taking small steps and establishing themselves gradually, they live to prove people wrong and build, buy, and floss, without establishing foundation and following God's leading. When you raise your standard of living and the churches financial responsibility up high, then you must keep the people coming to sustain it. This is a trap that the modern day, ambitious pastor, falls into. He sees what other men have and desires to grow to that status. But it comes with a price because if the people stop giving or coming, you are stuck with bills you cannot pay. So, the focus of the ministry has to be tithes and offerings and you have to keep entertaining the people so they will keep coming. Truth cannot be preached for fear of losing people, so, compromise becomes the spirit that resides in that house. And the people take on that same spirit and begin to live sinfully and in a spiritual state of compromise all because the pastor was overly ambitious and has selfish motives.

Then, they go for hollywood and get some movie stars, athletes, and money makers to attend services so they can help pay the large notes on these properties. This means that you have to accept the agenda of these people and not preach against them in order to keep them coming and giving. Now, our churches are coming apart at the seams because these carnal idolatrous pastors are leading them straight to HELL. They won't preach against sin and they accept any trend that is popular and will draw a crowd.

They welcome garbage into the house of God at any cost just to keep driving the cars, living in the big houses, and paying the bills of these lavish sanctuaries. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying there is anything wrong with having a large sanctuary and audience, but if you build it around your personality, then you my friend will have to sustain it with your ideas and concepts. If God builds it, then that would mean that the truth will sustain it. But if you have to resort to entertainment, lies, and extortion to keep the bills paid, then it wasn't God to begin with.We are at a crisis people of God. Our singers and performers have sold out. Our pastors are selling out. The church as a whole is in trouble and the home church is fast becoming the norm because people do not want to subject their families and children to the foolishness of these insecure pastors. Only insecure, un-affirmed men would use the house of God to show themselves and gain approval of people. These products from the broken homes of the 60's are grown up and running our churches into the ground because of their own private agendas. Only God can deliver us and set us free from our own agendas and heal us from our deficits. Whether it was divorce, molestation, abandonment, abuse, or being born out of wedlock, we must be healed by God before we can ever truly deny our plight to get the approval of men! And God forbid we put ourselves in a church where the leader is struggling with validation issues himself.

God is not pleased people! Look around you. If you are at a church where the youth are hip hoppers, the young adults are club goers, and the seasoned saints are singing Franky Beverly and Maze at the church picnic, then you my friends are under a selfish, insecure, carnal leader and the spirit of compromise will rule your house and family. Don't believe me? Look at the state of your children and you will see, because this is where the compromise takes it's toll......on the next generation. What the adults do in moderation, the youth will do in excess!

Jeremiah 12:10-13 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness. They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart. The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace. They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

Todays Youth ministry

Youth ministry: A “50-year failed experiment.”

Like placing a trampoline next to a spiked fence, sometimes you just have to admit when a bad idea is a bad idea (especially when it’s very harmful to children).

The Christian Post recently reported on a message from Scott T. Brown of the National Center for Family-Integrated Churches (NCFIC.org) in which he bravely went where few church leaders will go and criticized the sacred golden calf of youth ministry calling it “indisputably unbiblical.”

Brown gave this speech at the Sufficiency of Scripture Conference in Kentucky earlier this month which also featured Paul Washer, Voddie Baucham, Ken Ham, Doug Phillips, and others. Brown was optimistic though, hoping that “we are now at the end of this 50-year failed experiment.”

Ingrid Schlueter also weighed in on Brown’s lecture in this post when she said the following:

Youth groups that follow the fun and foolishness model of ministry have been an outstanding success—if by success you mean creating at least two generations of biblically illiterate, immature, and conscience-free consumers of American pop culture. As for training up disciplined, mature soldiers of Jesus Christ who possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Scriptures, most evangelical youth groups get an F.

Laodicean parents are concerned that their children will turn out badly. Turning out badly to Christians now means things like doing drugs, getting drunk or holding up the local Dollar Store. In terms of encouraging teens to avoid sex, drugs, booze and armed robbery, youth groups at evangelical churches probably get a few points. But when did avoiding procreation and police contact become the measure of success among Christian youth? Shouldn’t we be aiming a little higher than that? A working knowledge of sound Christian doctrine, knowledge of the Scriptures and the history of Christianity are now considered the arcane specialties of theologians, not tweens and teens.

The real issue is that evangelical parents are too busy servicing their debt providing iPhones and iPods and laptops for their offspring to worry about the biblical training of their children. Fathers are too involved watching the NFL on their large television screens to lead family worship. Mothers are too busy working out to achieve age-defying abs to teach children Scriptures when they rise up and when they lie down. That’s what youth group is for, they think. Except youth groups aren’t doing these things either. Youth pastors, even those well into middle-age, are bent on proving their coolness to the students in their care. They got krunk, see? They like dance-offs and air guitar competitions and having food items lobbed at their heads for entertainment purposes. Biblical training? Catechesis? Ha Ha Ha. Right.

Scott Brown is right. The neglect of biblical training of young people by their own fathers, in their own homes, is seen everywhere. Most frighteningly, we are seeing the increasing acceptance of things God clearly condemns in His Word. Kids today don’t know the Word. That’s why homosexuality is now seen as just another lifestyle option in a growing number of evangelical churches and colleges. Young people don’t know the Word because their fathers have failed them. Next, their “youth leaders” have failed them by perpetuating foolishness and buffoonery in the name of ministry.

Fathers, mothers, take back your roles as the primary disciplers of your children. Stop delegating the job to fools who are leading your children off a cliff spiritually. The times are dark and getting darker all the time, but the evangelicals party on, seemingly oblivious. The enemy is walking boldly into the church and subverting entire congregations with error of every description, not the least of which is an endemic spirit of frivolity and fun at the expense of teaching Biblical truth. But if evangelicals would look up from their revels, they would see the finger of God writing clearly on the walls of their churches.

“You have been tried in the balances and found wanting.”
